Jay Jarvis

Jay has been active in his community and church. He served on the Armuchee-Glenwood Education Foundation for three years, including one year as president. The Foundation is a non-profit organization which raises money to help support the four schools in the Armuchee community. 

In his spare time, he can be found on the golf course, or depending on the season, watching the University of Georgia hockey team.

Jay played on the first hockey team fielded by his high school and has participated in adult hockey leagues during the 1990's. Some years back, he began collecting game used items from all the professional hockey teams that have called Georgia home.  Jay created the Georgia Hockey Museum, a website dedicated to preserving the history of profesional hockey in Georgia.
